Saltwater Soaking Method (for pearls that have turned dark, lost their luster, or are heavily soiled)
Prepare a 20% saline solution (dissolve 20g of salt in 100ml of water) and soak the pearls for one hour.
After soaking, rinse the pearls in fresh water for 10 minutes to remove any salt residue.
Wipe the surface of the pearls with a soft cloth and ensure they are completely dry before storing them.
"Yushou" Salt Cleaning Method
Place the pearl necklace in a container and add "Yushou" salt (using a ratio of 10g of salt per appropriate amount of water); let the pearls soak for 24 hours.
"Yushou" salt helps dissolve impurities surrounding the pearls; however, be sure to rinse them with fresh water and wipe them dry after soaking.
