Handcrafting a pearl bracelet-particularly one in the Baroque style-involves specific materials and assembly steps. Required materials include natural Baroque pearls, spacer beads, silicone slider beads (abacus-style), headpins, fine chain, copper wire, crimp beads, flexible beading wire, crimp covers, and jump rings; necessary tools include round-nose pliers and scissors. The assembly process begins by threading two strands of fine chain through a silicone slider bead to create an adjustable clasp. Next, thread a pearl onto a headpin, attach it to one end of the chain, and use pliers to coil the excess wire; repeat this for the other end. Then, thread the flexible beading wire through a crimp bead, knot and tighten it, flatten the crimp bead, and secure it inside a crimp cover. String the spacer beads and pearls in sequence, securing the ends using the same method. Finally, use a jump ring to connect the main bracelet body to the adjustable clasp to complete the piece.

Beyond creating a bracelet from scratch, one can also repurpose an old necklace. This method requires a pearl necklace, crimp beads, beading wire, and a clasp, with optional accent beads such as Nanhong agate or turquoise. To reassemble, remove the pearls from the original necklace and string them onto the beading wire in a pattern of "pearl + spacer + accent bead." Secure both ends with crimp beads and attach the clasp; for an advanced design, retain the original necklace's extension chain to allow for length adjustments to fit various wrist sizes.

When making or purchasing pearl bracelets, be aware that some commercially available black pearls may be dyed. Natural pearls exhibit soft, natural hues, whereas dyed pearls often appear overly vibrant. Examination with a 10–15x magnifying glass can reveal color concentration on the surface of dyed pearls, particularly around any blemishes. Additionally, pearls are delicate; daily care requires avoiding contact with sharp or hard objects, as well as cosmetics, perfume, and sweat. After wearing, rinse the bracelet with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth; when storing, wrap it individually in a soft cloth to prevent abrasion.
